Job Description

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Fabrication Metal Welders for immediate and upcoming projects in Orlando, FL. Pay is up to $29 an hour based on experience and skillset. This role involves structural and precision welding in a shop environment, working from blueprints and fabrication drawings to produce high-quality metal components. Schedule Monday-Friday schedule 10-hour shifts 6:00 AM•4:00 PM Duration•Long•
Term OT Available:
Saturday & Sunday; subject to change Key Responsibilities Perform fabrication and welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick as required) on various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols Fit, align, and assemble metal components accurately Inspect welds and finished products for quality and compliance Operate welding and fabrication tools and equipment safely such as shears, brake presses, ironworkers, and drill presses. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment Follow OSHA and company safety standards Perfom additional duties as assigned by Foreman or Lead Required Qualifications Previous experience in fabrication welding or structural welding Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to lift materials and work on feet for extended periods Must be able to pass drug screening OSHA 10 Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication shop environment Experience with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding processes Mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic Work Environment Indoor fabrication shop setting Exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and metal fabrication processes Safety-focused environment with required
