Job Description

FIBERGLASS FABRICATION AND FINISHING
Millennium Luxury Coaches, a large and steadily growing Prevost converter located in Central Florida, is looking for an experienced fiberglass technician, to join our expanding and high volume paint department. This position is detail oriented and involves crafting, cutting, trimming, sanding, assembly among other operations involved in the successful production of fiberglass materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Applicants must have a minimum 1 year fiberglass experience
  • Work with designing, manufacturing and repairing molds Lay fiberglass, resins, and catalysts onto prepared molds using pneumatic spray guns with attachments Hand lay sections of saturated mat into place on molds using brushes, rollers and squeegees as needed to smooth out air pockets and wrinkles for good contact and adhesion Application of multiple layers of mat/fiber to required adhesion until thickness and contour is correct Perform structural and cosmetic fiberglass and carbon fiber repairs to vehicles Prepares fiberglass parts for painting Must be able to safely use equipment related to the completion of his job Must support, understand, and follow all company safety procedures and must be able to make suggestions to improve the same
