Position Summary:

CRA is seeking an experienced Aluminum Welder/Fabricator with proven experience in aluminum structures, mechanical fabrication, production-line fabrication, and the ability to read and interpret engineered drawings. The ideal candidate will possess strong measuring, cutting, fitting, assembly, and welding skills and take pride in producing high-quality aluminum products safely and efficiently.

Job Summary:

The position requires employees to perform all tasks to ensure efficiency of operations in terms of safety, quality, delivery and cost of fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform aluminum welding and fabrication of railings, ornamental products, and custom aluminum structures.

Work closely with management and supervisors to prioritize and complete projects.

Inspect and receive weld shop inventory according to purchase orders.

Monitor inventory levels and report supply shortages or concerns.

Maintain forklift certification and perform daily forklift safety inspections.

Support production scheduling to ensure timely completion and delivery of products.

Participate in physical inventory counts as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S principles.

Properly operate, care for, and maintain weld shop equipment and tools.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.

Contribute to CRA's commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in aluminum welding and fabrication.

Demonstrated experience fabricating aluminum structures, railings, ornamental products, and custom aluminum systems.

Strong mechanical fabrication experience, including measuring, cutting, fitting, assembling, and welding aluminum components.

Experience working in a production fabrication environment with the ability to efficiently measure, saw cut, fabricate, and assemble products to specification.

Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, engineered drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication plans.

Proficient in the safe operation of fabrication equipment, saws, grinders, drills, and welding equipment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet production deadlines.

Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

Maintain a professional attitude, strong work ethic, and winning mindset.
