Job Description

Formworker Supervisor The Formworker Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of formworkers in the construction industry. This individual will plan, organize, and supervise the construction of concrete forms for buildings, bridges, and other structures. They will ensure that all work is carried out according to safety regulations and project specifications. The ideal candidate should have experience in formwork construction, possess excellent leadership skills, and have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles. This position is located in Atlanta and offers a salary of $1800 per month.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with project managers to determine formwork requirements
  • Plan and schedule work activities for formworkers
  • Supervise formwork construction to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to meet project timelines
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed on job sites
  • Train new formworkers as needed
  • Communicate with clients and contractors regarding progress and any issues that may arise
  • Order materials and equipment needed for formwork construction
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control standards are met
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Formworker or similar role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
  • Excellent knowledge of structural engineering principles
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Familiarity with various form systems and materials such as wood, steel, aluminum, etc.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations in the construction industry
  • Good communication skills in English (Malayalee preferred)
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
