HEAVY MACHINE MECHANIC

RequirementsCertification, training, and/or experience in mechanics or a related field (an asset).Previous experience working in an airport or similar environment (preferred).Excellent customer service and communication skills with a professional, team-oriented approach.

Willingness to work shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, public holidays, and during emergencies (e.g. hurricanes).Reliable and punctual, with a strong attendance record.

Strong reading, writing, comprehension, and basic math skills.

Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.

Experience with heavy equipment inspection and diagnostics.

Ability to work in outdoor conditions (heat, dust, noise).Physically fit; capable of lifting up to 50 pounds comfortably.

Skilled in dismantling and reassembling heavy machinery.

Safety-conscious with a high tolerance for stress.

Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver's license (Group 4 Class preferred) with a clean driving record.

Must meet all regulatory requirements.

Compensation & BenefitsHourly Rate:

CI$7.00 - CI$10.00 (based on qualifications and experience)Health and pension benefits in accordance with Cayman Islands law.
