Iron Pourer

Essential Functions:

 Comply with all safety criteria!  Weigh specified amounts of alloy into pouring ladle.  Measure temperature of molten iron.  Safely pour molten iron into greensand molds.  Safely pour samples to ensure quality requirements are met.  Safely transfer molten iron between ladles.  Maintain a clean ladle using a pneumatic hammer.  Patch and repair ladle linings as required. Safely operate a hoist.  Chip spilled metal off pouring line as required.  Basic Housekeeping.  Perform other tasks deemed necessary in support of melt/pouring operations.

Skills or Experience Required:

Authorized to work in the US for any employer. Willing to follow all safety criteria including proper use of PPE. Ability to lift and manipulate heavy and cumbersome objects. On your feet and active most of the day in a hot environment. Other Position Demands /

Ample overtime is available. 5am - 3pm
