Job Description

A day in the life You arrive to a clean, organized shop focused on continuous improvement. Your shift starts by reviewing blueprints and schematics, planning your setup, and selecting the right process for the job. You prep and weld parts in stainless, carbon steel, and aluminum, ensuring every bead meets strict quality and safety standards. Between projects, you pitch in with equipment operation, assist with assembly, and help with general warehouse tasks to keep production moving efficiently. What you'll do Set up workpieces and fixtures; weld components to blueprint/schematic requirements. Interpret technical drawings to determine sequence, process, and measurements. Perform MIG and TIG welding; use flux core where appropriate. Work confidently with stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum. Validate dimensions with micrometers, calipers, straightedges, and other precision tools. Contribute to safety, quality, and efficiency initiatives across the shop. Assist with equipment operation, assembly activities, and general warehouse duties as needed. What you bring Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Hands-on experience with stainless, carbon steel, and aluminum. MIG, TIG, and flux core experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude with a production-oriented mindset; safety- and quality-focused. Solid basic math skills. Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, straightedges, and other measuring tools.
