The processing methods include shearing, punching, torching, band saw cutting, welding, as well as others. There is a critical component of quickly and accurately completing order cut logs detailing materials utilized for each order. The person will also wait on customers and be able to accurately process orders promptly as well as any other duties as directed by his/her supervisor. The duties of a Fabricator builds upon those of a Shop Associate. The Fabricator must have the ability to take material that he/she processes, interpret shop drawings and lays out plates, angles, tubes, pipes and MIG welds the components together to ensure compliance with shop drawings. Preference will be given to an applicant that has a valid Georgia driver's license with a good driving history of no more than three (3) points as some driving will be required. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm. Report time is 7:50 am. The appropriate attire for this position is dependent on the season, but will consist of blue jeans, leather boots, and gloves. A 30 foot measuring tape and personal hand tools are required.
