In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw steel materials into precise, high-quality components used in construction, industrial, and architectural projects. Your expertise will ensure that each piece meets strict safety standards and design specifications, contributing to the success of complex fabrication projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced tools and techniques in a fast-paced environment that values craftsmanship and innovation. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate steel components Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble steel parts Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding to join metal pieces securely according to ASME codes & standards Forklifts and other machinery safely to move heavy materials and fabricated structures Measure dimensions precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure fabrication accuracy Use plasma cutters or press brake machines for custom fabrication needs Follow safety protocols rigorously while working on construction sites or manufacturing floors, maintaining a clean and organized workspace Requirements Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background with steel fabrication projects Proficiency in welding techniques including
MIG, TIG, FCAW
; certification is a plus Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, and machining equipment Strong mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes, pipe threading, soldering, and assembly procedures Familiarity with ASME codes & standards relevant to steel fabrication and welding practices Basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication tasks Experience operating cranes, forklifts, rigging gear, or other heavy machinery safely Knowledge of ductwork manufacturing or pipe threading is advantageous Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Join us as we build innovative structures with precision craftsmanship!
