Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Steel Welder / Erector to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, assembling, and erecting structural steel components according to project specifications, blueprints, and safety standards. This position requires experience working with structural steel, welding processes, rigging, and the safe operation of construction equipment. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings. Fabricate, fit, and weld structural steel components using approved welding procedures. Erect structural steel beams, columns, trusses, and miscellaneous metals. Perform field welding, cutting, grinding, and fitting as required. Operate welding equipment, torches, grinders, aerial lifts, and other construction tools safely. Assist with rigging, hoisting, and placement of steel members using cranes and lifting equipment. Inspect materials and completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific safety requirements. Work effectively with project managers, supervisors, crane operators, and other construction personnel. Complete assigned tasks within project schedules and deadlines. .
