Job Description

Welder/ Fabricator Our client is looking for an individual with welding, construction or concrete experience. The ideal candidate will be looking for a full-time opportunity and come from a skilled trade with a proven track on job longevity. Located in Carlisle.
Pay:
$24.00-$27.00/ hour (DOE)
Hours:
6:00pm-6:00am (Mon - Thurs) •Ability to train on days 2-4 weeks
Duties:
Prep, fit, cut, drill and weld various structural steel assemblies. Monitor inventory and submit orders as needed, review and establish daily plans. Read specifications or blueprints to determine the locations, quantities, or sizes of materials required. Unload and position prefabricated steel units for hoisting. Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts, following blueprints and instructions from supervisors. Fasten structural steel members to hoist cables, using chains, cables, or rope. Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces, using metal shears, torches, or welding equipment. Fabricate metal parts, such as steel frames, columns, beams, or girders, according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors. Measure, cut and bend rebar. Examine work pieces and defects and measure work pieces to ensure conformance with specifications.
Requirements:
Heavy MIG Welding exp 2-year trade school preferred or equivalent experience (4 years). Stick and wire welding experience. Ability to read blueprints.
