We specialize in custom metal fabrication and take pride in producing clean, precise, and professional work. Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Fabricator to take ownership of complex fabrication projects and help drive quality and productivity in the shop. This position is hands-on and production-focused. The ideal candidate can read prints, lay out jobs accurately, fabricate with minimal supervision, and help guide other team members when needed. This is not just a welder position — we are looking for a fabricator who understands the full build process from raw material to finished product. Key Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specs accurately Lay out, fit, and fabricate parts to specification Perform high-quality MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding Ensure work meets quality and dimensional standards Assist in training and mentoring junior fabricators Work closely with the Shop Foreman to meet production goals Maintain a clean and safe work area Troubleshoot fabrication challenges and suggest improvements Qualifications 3-5 years of fabrication experience Strong blueprint reading skills Proficient in layout, fitting, and welding Ability to work independently with minimal supervision High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Strong work ethic and reliability Experience with structural steel, custom fabrication, or ornamental work (customize as needed) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Consistent, full-time work Opportunity for advancement Stable and growing company Team-oriented work environment
