Job Description
Job Overview Rugged Mountain Custom RV is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Trim & Finish Technician to join our growing team building high-end custom truck campers. This position focuses on precision metal finish work, including slide-out metal fabrication and installation, extruded metal trim work, and final exterior finishing details on our campers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with sheet metal, aluminum trim systems, fabrication tools, and finish work requiring a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing clean, professional work and enjoys being part of a team that builds premium RV products. Responsibilities Install and finish metal trim, extrusions, and slide-out metal components on custom truck campers Measure, cut, fit, and install aluminum and metal finishing materials with precision Work with slide-out systems and exterior metal details to ensure proper fit and finish Operate hand tools, power tools, metal cutting equipment, and fabrication tools safely and effectively Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and production specifications Assist with exterior finishing processes and final fit-and-finish work Collaborate with production managers and team members to maintain production timelines and quality standards Inspect completed work to ensure a clean, high-quality final product Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety procedures Skills & Qualifications Experience with metal finish work, aluminum trim, or sheet metal fabrication preferred Experience in RV, automotive, trailer, marine, or fabrication industries is a plus Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Ability to accurately measure and work with precision Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to lift materials and work in a production/shop environment What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time, stable employment Opportunity to work on high-end custom truck campers Family-oriented work environment Growing company with advancement opportunities Hands-on work building unique custom products Join our team of dedicated craftsmen who take pride in building premium custom RVs and truck campers right here in Idaho.
