Press Harmer Shift:
3 rd Shift 11:00 pm to 7:00 am Metals Technology, a Commercial Heat Treater located in Carol Stream, IL, has been serving the heat-treating needs of companies throughout Illinois for over 50 years. During that time, we have earned an excellent reputation as a provider of high-quality heat-treating and outstanding service. We are seeking a full-time straightener.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Operates hydraulic presses for the straightening of steel. Use steel plates to clamp metal flat. Use a dial indicator and feeler gauges. Follow job traveler requirements. Department cleaning Pack parts accordingly after completion
Qualifications:
Ability to use a dial indicator and feeler gauges, or capable of learning. Ability to drive a forklift or be capable of learning to drive. Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds frequently. Read and follow all the instructions Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Benefits of Working at
