Lead Weld & Fab Working Supervisor

  • Sunday | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts Dymax builds heavy-duty attachments and rail equipment that has to perform in the real world.
We're a 5th-generation company owned by the Balderson family, and we take pride in doing the job right. We are hiring a Weekend Lead Welder/Fabricator to lead our Friday-Sunday production crew.
This is a premium schedule:
Work three 12-hour shifts Get paid for 40 hours $2.50 hr shift differential Four days off every week Great benefits including childcare benefit If you value both craftsmanship and time with your family, this is an excellent opportunity. What you'll do: This is a hands-on leadership role. You won't just weld
  • you will raise the standard.
Welding & Fabrication MIG weld heavy structural steel and plate assemblies Fit and fabricate to blueprint specifications Ensure weld integrity and structural strength Maintain first-pass quality to reduce rework Leadership Guide and support weekend shift welders and fabricators Enforce safety and quality standards Keep workflow moving efficiently Communicate issues clearly to supervisors Set the tone for performance and accountability Production Prioritize jobs based on production schedule Help eliminate bottlenecks Protect delivery timelines What We're Looking For 5+ years welding heavy equipment or structural steel Strong blueprint reading skills Proven ability to lead or mentor others High standard of craftsmanship Strong work ethic and accountability Experience in heavy equipment, mining, ag, rail, or industrial fabrication preferred.
