About us Metal Pros., LLC. produces finished goods of all shapes and sizes using aluminum, steel and stainless steel. With a proven history in metal fabrication, including highway sign structures, architectural bridge railings, metals, and industrial weldments, we bring our resources and capabilities to businesses of all kinds. We pride ourselves on our quality, customer service, and timeliness of delivery. We are hiring a Welder to join our team!
Job Type:
Full-time Applicant must have the ability to accurately and efficiently weld all of the parts. Ability to perform aluminum mig welding, steel mig welding or both by completing requirements set for in D1:1 and D1:2. Follow all welding procedures. Conformance to all applicable welding codes. Proper operation of sanding and/or grinding equipment. Analyzes blueprint and specifications for each parent job and its sub-job components. Accurate manufacture of jigs to allow for the proper alignment of component pieces during the weld process. Ability to read work instructions. Accurately aligns material on fixtures either with clamps, stops or locators. Performs welding in a manner that ensures conformance to blueprint, work instructions and regulatory requirements. Verifies precision and workmanship of all welds. Proper cleaning of all welded areas. Verifies conformance of part dimensions to blueprint using measuring instruments such as tape measure, calipers, gauges, and micrometers. Works as member of overall manufacturing team. Communicates with co-workers and supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate activities. Adherence to equipment maintenance schedule and procedures. Understand the company Quality Policy. Know how your job impacts quality. Safety Assurance Be informed on the conditions affecting the safety of their work Participate in safety training. Adhere to established safety practices. Report near misses and incidents. Assist in safety check walk-throughs and accident investigation when required. Continuous Improvement Actively support all 5S initiatives. Actively participate in all SQCDP meetings Maintain a clean working environment throughout the entire facility and grounds. Keep certifications up to date and relevant to all industry and regulatory requirements
Work Schedules:
1st Shift (10hr/day) Monday
  • Thursday, 5:00 pm
  • 3:350 pm (Must be able to work overtime as needed) 2nd Shift (10hr/day) Monday
  • Thursday, 3:25 pm
  • 1:55am $1.00 Shift differential pay. (Must be able to work overtime as needed) Weekend Shift (12hr/day) Friday-Sunday, 5:00 am
  • 5:30 pm Work 36hrs paid for 40 hrs.
$1.00 Shift differential pay. (Must be able to work overtime as needed)
