Bourg, LA Schedule:
Full-Time | Day Shift Job Summary Seeking an experienced 1st Class Shipfitter for a shipyard in Bourg, LA. Candidates must be skilled in reading blueprints, fitting structural steel, and assembling vessel components safely and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Must-Have Qualifications 3+ years of shipfitting experience Ability to read marine blueprints and drawings Experience with fitting tools, torches, and grinders Able to pass a hands-on test Reliable transportation and attendance Able to work overtime as needed Preferred Qualifications NCCER or trade certification Aluminum and steel vessel experience Gulf Coast shipyard experience Qualifying Questions Are you willing to work overtime if needed? 3 years
