Structural Fitter &1040 w/ OT+ WEEKLY Join SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued!
Key Requirements:
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols.- Measure, mark, and lay out steel components accurately.
- Fit and align beams, columns, plates, stairs, handrails, and structural assemblies.
- Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools.
- Cut, bevel, grind, drill, and prepare steel materials for assembly.
- Tack weld components as required prior to final welding.
- Operate grinders, drills, saws, torches, overhead cranes, and forklifts.
- Inspect materials and assemblies for quality and specification compliance
