Job Description

As a Radiologic Technologist you will assess patients and safely performs routine radiographic procedures in accordance with prescribed safety procedures and protocols. Serves as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students. $20,000 Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Available $25.60/hr to $42.95/hr Days, Nights, and Weekends; Various shift options such as 3 12's, 4 10's, and 7on/7off - team is flexible ARRT required
Qualifications:
Completion of an approved radiologic technology program Preferred - Radiologic technology experience Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry eligible, registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 90 days of employment, and temporary state license required. Current unrestricted license in the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities:
Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care. Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding. Independently operates equipment to complete imaging procedure according to protocol (may include placement of nasogastric tubes, IVs, urinary catheters, and administration of contrast). Reviews patient images prior to transmission to ensure images meet diagnostic quality standards. Completes timely quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and performing notification/remediation as warranted.
