Structural Steel Fitter / Welder North Shreve Welding & Construction Shreveport, LA Job Details Full-time $25 - $32 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Retirement plan Qualifications Stick welding Fabrication Blueprint specification interpretation Basic math Welders (tool) Steel construction materials American Welding Society (AWS) standards Construction plans MIG welding Blueprint reading Welding Full Job Description This job requires a minimum of 3 years of experience fitting structural steel and misc. steel (stairs and handrails). Must be proficient in reading blueprints and detail oriented. We don't cut corners and do high quality work in a friendly environment. Ability to pass a D1.1 welding test is required for this position. We are family first company so you will not miss a ball game, mission trip or family functions as long as we get a few days' notice.
