We are currently in need of a Scaffold Builders to join our team in Dover, DE. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Scaffold Builder to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling scaffolding structures that support various construction, renovation, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in metal building erection, concrete forming, and general construction site operations. Your expertise will ensure the safety, stability, and efficiency of scaffolding systems used across diverse projects. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to large-scale building initiatives while maintaining high standards of safety and craftsmanship. Duties Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety standards. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine scaffold layout and assembly procedures. Install metal stud framing, rebar reinforcement, and other structural components as part of the overall construction process. Use hand tools and power tools to assemble scaffolding components securely and accurately. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor to position materials and equipment at various heights safely. Conduct routine inspections of scaffolding for stability, integrity, and compliance with safety regulations; make necessary adjustments or repairs. Assist with concrete forming, masonry work, roofing, siding, stucco application, plastering, and remodeling tasks as needed. Operate heavy equipment when required for site preparation or material transportation. Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure precise measurements for framing, trim carpentry, metal building erection, and other structural elements. Support construction management by coordinating with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently. Skills Proven experience in metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, roofing, siding, stucco, plastering, and remodeling. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to construction projects. Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, chisels; power tools including drills and saws; heavy equipment operation skills preferred. Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately using tape measures or laser tools. Skilled in framing carpentry—including woodworking and trim carpentry—and metal stud framing techniques. Familiarity with construction plans and schematics to interpret project requirements effectively. Experience with heavy lifting techniques ensuring safety during material handling. Knowledge of safety protocols related to scaffold assembly and construction site operations. Excellent physical stamina for demanding tasks involving prolonged standing or climbing at heights. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding technical instructions. Pass a drug screen and background check.
