Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in various welding techniques. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal components, ensuring high-quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. The Fabricator/Welder will work with a variety of materials, including sheet metal, and utilize various tools and machinery to complete projects efficiently. Responsibilities Operate welding equipment including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding to join metal parts. Utilize press brake machines for bending and shaping metal components. Perform plasma cutting for precise cuts on various materials. Fabricate metal structures according to specifications and blueprints. Rig materials safely for lifting and moving during the fabrication process. Use power tools effectively for assembly and finishing tasks. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Experience Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Experience working with sheet metal and various welding techniques is preferred. Ability to operate press brake machines, plasma cutting equipment, and other power tools safely and effectively.
