The ideal candidate will have experience performing MIG welding, fabricating and fitting structural steel components, and reading blueprints. This position requires a strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on architectural and structural steel components. Fabricate, fit, and assemble steel structures according to project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Measure, cut, and prepare materials for fabrication and assembly. Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure quality standards are met. Work collaboratively with team members to complete manufacturing and installation projects on schedule. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures and industry standards. Qualifications Minimum of 6 months of previous welding experience required (MIG/TIG preferred). Experience in fabrication and fitting of structural or architectural steel is highly preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding required; TIG welding experience is a plus. Hands-on experience reading and working from blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications. Strong fabrication, fitting, and layout skills. Ability to accurately measure, cut, and assemble steel components to specifications. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship. Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and adherence to industry standards. Ability to lift, move, and handle steel materials in a manufacturing environment. Reliable attendance and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
