Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, works well with others, and has strong hands-on fabrication skills. This role involves welding, layout, fabrication, equipment operation, and problem-solving in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel and aluminum. Operate fabrication equipment such as press brake, CNC plasma, Bridgeport, and standard shop tools. Read and interpret fabrication prints, drawings, and specifications to produce accurate components. Use layout tools including tape measures, squares, protractors, and decimal measurement systems. Assist with general fabrication tasks including cutting, forming, fitting, and assembly. Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve fabrication issues. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely project completion. Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of fabrication experience. High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding (steel and aluminum). Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings. Basic working knowledge of press brake operation. Basic working knowledge of Bridgeport milling machine operation. Competence with tape measures, squares, protractors, and general layout tools. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications OSHA 10 certification. Forklift certification. CNC plasma table operation experience. Basic CAD experience (2D or 3D). Work Schedule Standard workweek of 40-45 hours, with additional hours as needed based on production demands.
