Job Description
We are a 75-year-old local equipment rental and scaffold company serving the construction industry. We offer a wide range of equipment along with scaffold systems for commercial and residential projects. Job Summary We are hiring a motivated Apprentice Mechanic to assist with equipment repairs while also supporting yard operations and scaffold assembly . This is a hands-on role with strong growth potential for someone looking to build a long-term career. What You'll Do Assist with diagnosing and repairing equipment Perform routine maintenance on rental equipment Load/unload equipment and keep yard organized Build, dismantle, and stage scaffold systems Assist with inventory and general shop tasks What We're Looking For Mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors Basic hand tool knowledge Valid driver's license required Construction or scaffold experience is a plus (not required) Schedule Monday-Friday Day shift (8-10 hours) Overtime available Occasional weekends Pay & Benefits Weekly pay PTO + Paid holidays Annual bonus Company-paid uniforms Employee discounts Direct deposit Opportunity for advancement
