An experienced candidate should have a vast knowledge of using their hands to build and create within a high pace setting. Materials used will be wood, metal, plastic and composite materials. We will be building large pop-up shops that will be installed in retail stores across the country. Someone with general building skills will pick things up quickly. The majority of this work will be custom fabrication. Almost everything is cut on the CNC. Non-CNC production equipment is used on occasion. Each project differs from the prior and requires a deep knowledge and problem-solving mindset. Projects include but are not limited to; flat displays, 3-dimensional objects, machined signs, cabinetry, large store displays and tradeshow booths. There may be 1,000 pieces, or possibly just a single prototype. No two days are alike; therefore, the perfect candidate would be comfortable extending their skills outside of their position when needed to assist other areas of the shop. This could include shipping/packaging, production assembly, and/or possible traveling for installations.
Requirements:
  • A valid Driver's License and reliable mode of transportation
  • A Highschool Diploma, 2 yr or 4 yr College degree is a plus
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on a team and be self-motivated
  • Good math skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • A positive work ethic Skillset required:
  • Organized
  • Detail orientated (
  • must be able to read and use a tape measure)
  • Can handle adversity when things don't go exactly as planned
  • Can handle multiple tasks during a day.
