Job Description
Pay is based on experience. This job involves working outside in all kinds of weather, including heat and cold. You'll need to wear protective shoes, safety gear, and eye protection while on the job. The work includes lifting heavy metals, sorting metal, and helping customers who come to the yard. Good communication and customer service skills are important since you'll be talking with the public. You must be able to follow directions, show up on time, and work safely. There will be a probationary period when you start. Experience in a scrap yard or similar work is a plus, but not required.
