DeWind designs, builds, and operates the world's largest Trenchers - weighing up to 1.3 Million lbs. DeWind fabricates all the weldments for every piece of the trencher, using primarily A514 steel (T1). The average steel thickness is 1.5", but we do weld up to 4". Preheating your workpiece is required before welding. Our weldments can range in weight from 1k to 60k lbs. Within our 20k Sq. ft. building, there are 4 overhead cranes, ranging from 10 to 60 tons.
