| 1ST SHIFT. austin, minnesota Posted 4/16/2026 Closes 7/31/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $26.50 - $28.50 per hour Permanent 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_174684 As a Black Iron MIG Welder you will be responsible for the full-cycle fabrication of products using mild steel, black iron, and aluminum. This role requires the ability to operate independently under minimal supervision while following technical blueprints, sketches, or physical samples. Direct Hire & Permanent position!

1st Shift (No weekends or nights!)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday with an

EARLY OUT

on Fridays!

Hours:

6:30 AM - 4:00 PM (40-42 hours per week)

Pay:

Welding & Fabrication:

Set up and perform TIG, MIG, and laser welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Equipment Operation:

Operate saws, cutting torches, presses, and iron workers.

Technical Interpretation:

Read and interpret drawings, sketches, samples, and instructions ...

Material Preparation:

Clean, cut, and prepare materials for fabrication.

Material Handling:

Operate hoists, cranes, pallet jacks, and carts.

Working hours:

6:30 AM - 4:00

PM Skills:

Previous black iron welding experience

MIG/GMAW

welding experience Overhead crane operating experience blueprint reading experience

Education:

No Degree Required Experience:

1-4 years
