Traveling Fabricator

Traveling Fabricator Job Description Candidates will be operating a variety of fabrication equipment. They will be responsible for setting up and operating Manual H-Press, Manual Drill Press, Metal Saws, Eagle Swager, and Tube Benders. Additionally, they must perform basic measuring using tape measures, calipers, angle gauges, and radius gauges. The role involves working on both high and low volume projects, requiring the ability to follow blueprints and work instructions. Responsibilities Operate and set up Manual H-Press, Manual Drill Press, Metal Saws, Eagle Swager, and Tube Benders. Perform basic measuring using tape measures, calipers, angle gauges, and radius gauges. Work on high and low volume projects using blueprints and work instructions. Perform fixture welding and MIG welding. Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings. Essential Skills High school diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience in Fabrication Machine Operation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings. 1 year of recent experience working on Tube Bender. Ability to read tape measure to 1/32". Ability to lift 50 lbs without restrictions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with press brake and sheet metal fabrication. Knowledge of production processes and blueprint reading. Welders will operate within designated welding booths, ensuring a focused and efficient workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delano, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
