Job Description

100% of Employee Medical Insurance paid $3000 Sign on Bonus C.A.B Construction is a trusted metal manufacturer and fabrication leader located in Mankato, MN. In order to consistently meet the highest standards and highest levels of performance, C.A.B. operates using both cutting edge technology and MIG welding out of our 75,000 square foot facility.
Responsibilities:
MIG welding Sanding, chipping and cleaning of parts. Layout, assemble in jigs or fixtures, weld, and inspect welds.
Communicate:
Read and understand work related materials. Strong Blueprint reading. Determine the best tools and equipment to do the job. Maintain equipment on a routine basis. Maintain a safe work environment. This is a safety sensitive position due to the handling of heavy material.
Skills and Abilities:
Able to bend, twist, and lift up to 75 pounds. Manage one's time to maximize productivity. Train others to develop depth and support in the team. Look for ways to help people in a team environment. Identify problems and find solutions for them. Test, inspect and evaluate products, services, and/or processes. Evaluate quality of performance. Assist with or perform repair of machines or systems.
Job Requirements:
Education High school diploma or GED required
Experience Mechanical:
Knowledge of designing, using and repairing machines and tools. Hours Forty-hour work week. Overtime opportunities when working with customer or production deadlines. This is a non-exempt, hourly position and employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis.
