Hiring Traveling Steel/Crane Install Technician 30-42/HR + Per Diem Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Steel Install Technician, where you'll have the opportunity to build large industrial lifting and structural systems across the country. This role is perfect for those who enjoy hands-on work, team collaboration, and the excitement of traveling to different locations. Responsibilities Travel nationwide to install structural steel, mechanical components, and lifting systems. Set columns, runways, hoists, bridges, and control systems. Lay out steel, verify parts, and ensure proper fit and alignment. Bolt, connect, and weld structural components. Read blueprints and schematics to guide installation work. Collaborate with teammates to complete complex installations safely and efficiently. Essential Skills Experience in steel installation, rigging, or mechanical assembly. Ability to interpret drawings, measurements, and layout plans. Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude. Willingness and ability to travel frequently. Team mindset, reliability, and a commitment to safety. Additional Skills & Qualifications Welding experience. Previous crane or hoist installation exposure.
