We're a family-owned OEM and integrator with more than 1,200 systems running in plants worldwide, and we do much of our fabrication, assembly and service work in-house. We're hiring a Fabricator to join the shop team that helps turn engineered designs into the systems our customers depend on. What you'll do Read and interpret prints, drawings and fabrication plans. Perform welding and general fabrication work on components used in industrial automation systems. Operate saws, hand tools and other standard shop equipment. Measure, cut, fit and assemble fabricated metal components according to project requirements. Work independently on assigned fabrication tasks while keeping quality and schedule in mind. Coordinate with other shop team members when larger builds require shared support. Communicate clearly with supervisors, engineering and assembly when questions or issues come up. Prioritize work based on project needs, deadlines and production flow. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area by following shop procedures, safety rules and PPE requirements. Schedule First shift Minimum 8 hours per day Overtime may be required based on project workload What we're looking for The technical baseline: High school diploma or GED preferred 1-3 years of experience in a fabrication role preferred Welding experience Ability to read and understand prints, drawings and fabrication plans General knowledge of operating saws, hand tools and basic shop equipment Ability to measure, cut, fit and assemble fabricated components accurately Strong attention to detail Good communication skills Trade school or technical training is a plus The mindset that actually matters here: Self-starter. We need someone who can take an assigned task, understand what needs to happen and keep moving without needing constant direction. Independent, but not isolated. A lot of the work is done on your own, but the build still depends on the whole team staying connected. Team-first attitude. Our shop runs because people help each other, communicate well and understand that every part of the build matters. Reliable. Showing up ready to work, staying on task and keeping projects moving matters here. Good judgment. Fabrication work requires knowing when to solve a problem and when to raise a question before it becomes a bigger issue. Physical requirements This is a plant floor position. You'll be standing, reaching, grasping and on your feet for most of the day, with frequent bending, squatting and twisting. You may need to lift, carry, push or pull materials and components as part of regular fabrication work. Employees are expected to follow all safety procedures and use proper lifting practices and PPE.
