Mechanic Suspended Scaffolding

Goedecke is one of the country's largest private distributors of construction materials, and currently has an opening for a Mechanic in the St. Louis MO area. If you have mechanical or small engine repair experience, electrical knowledge, and a Class E or willing to attain one, then this is an opportunity you need to pursue! Must be comfortable with heights, some travel will be required. This is a union position, applicant must be willing to join.

Additional Pay:

o A lot of overtime availability (not mandatory). o When in the field, earn an additional $6 / hour. o All Saturday work is overtime, all Sunday work is double time. o If working above a certain number of stories, earn another $1.50 / hour.

Shift Schedule:

Work from 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, anything over 8 hours is overtime!

• Provides emergency/unscheduled diagnosis and repairs on construction equipment.
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs on construction equipment.
• Prepares and sets up construction equipment.
• Knowledge of, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair construction equipment.
• Complete repair orders and update customers on status of construction equipment.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
• Class E Driver's License Required.
• Must be able to work at job required height
• Need to be able to carry 50 lb. weights
