MIG/TIG Fitter Welder

H&H is looking for a full-time Production Worker with a focus on TIG and MIG welding in our plant to join our growing team. This position will be an integral part of the production team, concentrating on highly skilled TIG and MIG welding. Our customers require a premium fit and finish for a wide variety of products using aluminum, stainless and mild steel. Job Responsibilities Primary focus on TIG and MIG welding & finishing Follow directions of the foreman as to daily priorities and procedures Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, safe and orderly condition Install gaskets, doors etc. as required Follow prescribed safety procedures Verify quality of finished work pieces Grind, sand or polish enclosures to finish surface and prepare for further finishing, using hand tools, power tools, or other machinery Safely operate a forklift to move materials Able to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs. Qualifications Strong background in TIG and MIG welding in high quality environment Previous fabrication experience preferred Ability to read and understand production drawings High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Mechanically minded Ability to work both independently and with a team Strong troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities Competent in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions Excellent communication skills; listening, comprehension, and feedback Roll up your sleeves and get it done attitude Passion for high quality work A laser focus and attention to detail Enjoys a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills; listening, comprehension, and feedback Full benefits offered with this position, including $1.50/hour pension contribution, and unlimited growth potential.
