Job Title:

Fabricator Job Description As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for cutting and fitting various sizes of metal to assist welders. You will prepare all metal pieces into different jigs for welders and grind welds to ensure smooth finishes. Utilizing blueprints and schematics, you will fabricate products according to specific orders. Operating presses and maintaining a clean workspace daily are also key aspects of this role. This position is physically demanding, requiring you to be on your feet all day and frequently lift 50 pounds at a time. Responsibilities Cut and fit different sizes of metal for welders. Prepare metal pieces into different jigs for welders. Grind welds for a smooth finish. Use blueprints and schematics to fabricate products according to orders. Operate presses efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the work area daily. Handle physically demanding tasks, including standing all day and lifting 50 pounds. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience in custom fabrication working off blueprints. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Proficiency in using blueprints and schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in assembly and operation of fabrication equipment. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in an unheated machine shop, spending over 8 hours a day on your feet. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaconda, MT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
