• 4•10 Hout Shifts•Split Mountain Metals is looking to add a Full-Time Welder/Fabricator Key Responsibilities Maintain a smooth workflow in the fabrication department of the shop.

Maintain all necessary paperwork to ensure that parts are being completed correctly. Properly fabricate parts according to the provided set of prints or drawings. Ensure the correct amount of material, welding supplies, and general shop supplies are on hand to efficiently and accurately produce products according to the production schedule. Maintain a clean and orderly workspace in the fabrication area of the facility. Maintain quality control protocol to ensure parts are completed correctly and accurately. Ensure all fabrication equipment is correctly maintained and serviced according to manufacturer specs. Load and unload customer parts from vehicles and trailers. Work with a team to ensure all daily tasks are completed by end-of-day. Attend Morning Safety meetings with other employees to discuss daily tasks. Expectations You must be able to follow directions, problem-solve, and stay on task without management oversight. You must be a hardworking, self-motivated person who works well with others. You must be able to adapt to changing situations, protocols, and processes. You may be asked to run heavy equipment including a forklift and/or skid steer. Qualifications and Requirements GED minimum. Proficient on a computer, including keyboarding. Basic knowledge of how to read and follow blueprints. Extensive knowledge of all major types of welding. Extensive knowledge of fabrication practices. Preferred Skills Basic understanding of powder coating or similar techniques such as painting. Ability to run a forklift and/or skid steer. CNC Plasma Experience Previous Fabrication Experience (1-2 Years Prefered)

• Thursday Physical Requirements The fabricator has a physically demanding job, the physical activity required to produce quality parts.

As a fabricator, you will be required to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. This job also requires long stints of working on your feet with minimal breaks or sitting.
