Job Description:

Shift:

Nights 3 12 hour shifts 7pm-7am 2 nights at 50 Hospital Drive in Hendersonville, 1 night at Parkway in Asheville at 333 Gashes Creek Rd, Suite 111, Asheville, 28803 ​Performs polysomnography procedures according to physician orders, department policy, and patient care plans. Adapts all needed testing procedures and equipment to patients and obtains quality data. Conducts thorough patient assessments and takes appropriate action as necessary. Uses hospital equipment, supplies, and resources responsibly and notifies the lead polysomnographer of any concerns. Follows procedures for correct billing and documentation of services provided. Strives to achieve reliability scores at a prescribed rate. Explains and modifies teaching strategies to accommodate patients with decreased vision, hearing, or mental status. Addresses considerations necessary for the care of patients with special medical conditions.

Education:

• Associate [Preferred] • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

• 1+ experience as a sleep tech [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) [Required]

Pay Range:
