Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Sheet Metal Spot Welder to join our manufacturing team on 1st shift. In this role, you will operate spot-welding equipment to join sheet-metal components according to production specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate has previous welding or metal-fabrication experience and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Responsibilities Operate spot-welders and related fabrication equipment Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and job specifications Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment to ensure proper operation Inspect welded joints for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Document work performed using production forms or digital systems Qualifications Experience preferred in spot welding, sheet metal, or manufacturing Ability to read basic shop drawings or work instructions Understanding of measurements, gauges, and fabrication tools Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Willingness to follow safety procedures and quality standards Shift & Schedule 1st Shift Full-Time, Monday through Friday 7 - 3:30 (overtime as needed)
