The Role We are looking for a skilled and dependable Structural Welder to join our growing team. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with stick and MIG welding, a strong eye for precision, and the ability to read and work from blueprints and shop drawings. During slower periods, this role may also support our estimating team — making it a great fit for someone looking to grow beyond the shop floor. Responsibilities Perform structural welding using Stick (SMAW) and MIG (GMAW) processes Fabricate and assemble steel components to project specifications Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols Inspect finished welds for quality and compliance with standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Assist with project estimating as needed during slower periods Communicate effectively with shop leadership and team members Requirements 2-5 years of hands-on welding experience (structural or fabrication environment preferred) Proficiency in Stick and MIG welding — required Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings Welding certification preferred (e.g., AWS D1.1 or equivalent) Familiarity with estimating or willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, punctual, and a team player Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment Schedule Monday - Friday, Day Shift Full-Time Compensation & Benefits $26-$45 per hour , commensurate with experience Paid Time Off (PTO) How to Apply Interested candidates should submit their resume through Indeed.
