Lead Installer/Welder

Lead Installer/Welder | Las Vegas, NV Nexeo is hiring a Lead Installer/Welder for a premier artisan contracting firm in Las Vegas that specializes in high-end custom staircases, ornamental ironwork, architectural metalwork, and specialty millwork installations. If you're a hands-on leader who can run the jobsite, lead a small crew, and produce clean welds that meet code and high finish standards—this is the role for you. Responsibilities Drive an installation truck to and from job sites Lead a 2-person crew for field installation and modifications Install and modify handrails, stairways, gates, doors, fencing, and miscellaneous metal/woodwork Set up welding machines based on the job at hand (or per Welding Procedure Specifications) Communicate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure installs meet code and required quality standards Read and interpret blueprints/drawings to determine welding and installation requirements MIG weld (required) and TIG weld (preferred) steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components to print/spec Maintain a safe jobsite: keep work areas clean, organized, and equipment properly cared for Work closely with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency Lift and position raw materials and finished components into place Uphold applicable ISO and OSHA standards Qualifications 5+ years of installation experience (field/onsite) Experience working with steel, aluminum, and/or stainless steel (required) MIG welding proficiency required

Preferred:

TIG welding experience Ability to consistently lift up to 60 lbs (with assistance for heavier items as needed) Ability to identify, measure, and work with materials accurately Strong working knowledge of tools, machines, and jobsite installation practices Ability to read and use blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges Dependable work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow verbal/written instructions Commitment to safety and quality—doing the job right the first time Ability to stand/walk for long periods; reach, handle, and manipulate materials/equipment Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and occasionally crawl in tight/awkward positions Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather Ability to work around loud noise, fumes/odors, and machinery (PPE required as applicable) This is a hands-on, physically demanding role Pay $25.00 - $40.00 per hour Schedule Full Time | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Nexeo Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Limited Life, Short-Term Disability Refer a Friend Bonus | Other Financial Incentives (Bonuses) Weekly Pay | Direct Deposit |
