While Rockland County has plenty to offer, both the mountains and the beach are within a few hours' drive. SUMMARY Performs a variety of duties in the Center, as a member of the surgical team. Scrubs on all types of cases performed at the Center, including orthopedic, pain and local cases. Assists in preparation for cases by "picking instruments" and set-up and maintenance of sterile field. May also function as surgeon's second assistant. Assist OR team in all aspects of room turnover. Pick soft goods and instrumentation to facilitate preparation for following days' surgery.QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited training program. 1-2 years of ambulatory operating room experience preferred. Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program throughNBSTSA. CST
