Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Collision Frame Technician to join our certified automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring heavily damaged vehicle frames to their original specifications, ensuring safety, structural integrity, and optimal performance. Your expertise in collision repair, metal fabrication, and vehicle alignment will be vital in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Key Duties and Responsibilities Damage Assessment:
Evaluate structural integrity by inspecting vehicles for frame twists, major panel damage, and safety concerns.
Frame Straightening:
Utilize specialized pulling posts, hydraulic frame machines, and computerized measuring systems to realign damaged chassis to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) dimensions.
Metal Fabrication & Welding:
Perform complex welding procedures—including MIG, TIG, and aluminum welding—to join new metal sections to existing frames.
Component Replacement:
Remove and replace heavily damaged structural parts, including roof sections, pillars, and structural rails using riveting and welding techniques.
Mechanical Disassembly/Reassembly:
Remove and reinstall suspension, steering, exhaust, and drivetrain components to gain access to the frame or repair collision-related mechanical faults.
Quality Control:
Inspect completed repairs against structural guidelines to ensure optimal vehicle handling and passenger safety.
