Job Description
Fitter
- Metal Fabricator A metal fabrication company in Akron is seeking an experienced Fitter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Measure, cut, and shape various types of metal using tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and shears
- Weld or solder pieces together as needed
- Inspect completed products for quality assurance
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Fitter or Metal Fabricator
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Proficient in welding and soldering techniques
- Attention to detail and quality assurance skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
