Position Overview We are looking for a motivated Rebar Fabricator to join our fabrication team in Barberton, Ohio. In this role, you will cut, bend, fabricate, load, and prepare reinforcing steel for commercial and industrial construction projects. You will work with both manual and automated fabrication equipment to produce high-quality fabricated rebar according to shop drawings, bar lists, and customer specifications. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and wants to be part of a fast-paced manufacturing and construction environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret bar lists, work orders, shop drawings, and bar tags. Operate automated shear lines, benders, and fabrication equipment. Cut and bend reinforcing steel according to project specifications. Inspect fabricated material for accuracy and quality. Load and unload rebar and fabricated material. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Assist with inventory organization and material staging. Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules. Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Perform other shop and warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications Manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, steel, or construction experience preferred. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn fabrication equipment. Strong attention to detail. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Forklift experience preferred but not required. Overhead crane experience preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and more with assistance. Ability to stand, bend, twist, and move throughout the workday. Ability to work in a warehouse and fabrication environment with varying temperatures. Ability to safely handle steel products and fabrication materials.
