The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and assembling various components, utilizing both hand and power tools. This position requires proficiency in welding techniques, including FCAW and Stick welding, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring that all fabricated parts meet quality standards and specifications. Responsibilities Build and assemble components according to project specifications and blueprints. Utilize FCAW and Stick welding techniques to join metal parts effectively. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for fabrication tasks. Perform machining operations as needed to achieve precise dimensions. Read and interpret schematics to understand fabrication requirements. Execute plasma cutting tasks for shaping materials as per design needs. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet required standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven experience in fabrication or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with various welding techniques, particularly FCAW and Stick welding. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to fabrication processes. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Experience with plasma cutting is a plus but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
