In this role, you will be responsible for the hands-on assembly and finishing of metal components. You will operate a variety of specialized machinery and hand tools while ensuring every part meets our high-quality standards and safety protocols.
What You'll Do Machine Operation:
Set up and operate various equipment, including PEM insertion machines, spot welders, metal rollers, drill presses, and belt grinders.
Finishing & Deburring:
Utilize pneumatic and electric grinders for deburring and weld blending to ensure a smooth, professional finish.
Blueprint Reading:
Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and customer documentation to ensure parts are built to exact specifications.
Precision Measurement:
Use rules, gauges, calipers, and templates to verify work accuracy.
Production Goals:
Meet daily production rates and goals while following standard work instructions.
Safety & Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation while adhering to all PPE and safety requirements.
Qualifications Experience:
2+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience (metal fabrication or woodworking preferred).
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and general shop math skills.
Technical Ability:
Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for the duration of a shift (including bending, squatting, and twisting).
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Working Environment You will work indoors in an active industrial manufacturing environment. Exposure to moving mechanical parts and noise levels requiring hearing protection is standard #
