Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Ironworker and become a vital part of building strong, durable structures! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing and reinforcing steel and iron components that form the backbone of commercial and industrial projects. Your expertise will help ensure safety, precision, and quality in every project you undertake. Whether working on new builds or renovation sites, your skills will contribute to creating lasting infrastructure that stands the test of time. Responsibilities Erect, install, and reinforce steel frameworks, rebar, and other structural elements according to blueprints and schematics Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical plans to execute precise installations Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts safely to lift and position steel components Use hand tools and power tools to cut, bend, weld, and secure steel reinforcements with accuracy Perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites Conduct site inspections for quality assurance and ensure compliance with safety standards throughout the project lifecycle Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on structural steel installation Mechanical knowledge of tools such as welders, and other small tools. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Familiarity with safety procedures related to heavy lifting, scaffolding, welding, and site hazard mitigation Valid driver's license Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces as required Ability to travel to all job sites in the Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, and other surrounding areas. Preferences Weld Certifications Ability to pass a Background check
