Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Sign Fabricator to join our production team. The Metal Sign Fabricator is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and finishing custom commercial signage using a variety of metals, fabrication equipment, and hand tools. This position requires the ability to read shop drawings, operate fabrication equipment, and maintain high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fabricate custom signs, sign cabinets, channel letters, monuments, and structural sign components from aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and other materials. Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, work orders, and production specifications. Measure, cut, drill, bend, grind, and assemble metal components to required specifications. Operate fabrication equipment including shears, brakes, saws, drills, welders, routers, and other shop machinery. Perform MIG and TIG welding as required. Assemble sign structures and prepare products for painting, electrical installation, and final assembly. Install sign hardware, trim, raceways, and mounting components. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy are met. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines. Assist with loading, packaging, and preparing finished products for shipment or installation. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and production personnel to meet project deadlines. Qualifications Experience in metal fabrication, welding, manufacturing, construction, or a related trade preferred. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans. Experience with MIG and TIG welding preferred. Knowledge of metalworking tools, machinery, and fabrication techniques. Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment and power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn sign fabrication techniques and production processes. Valid driver's license preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
