Full Job Description Steel and Rebar Fabricator Location:

Job Type:
Full-time Compensation:
$16-$22 per hour, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus opportunities About the Role We are hiring a Fabricator to cut, bend, prepare, bundle, tag, stage, and help load steel and construction-related materials. This position is ideal for someone who is accurate with measurements, comfortable around shop equipment, physically capable, and proud of producing clean, correct work. What You Will Do
  • Read and follow fabrication instructions, cut lists, measurements, and supervisor direction.
  • Cut and bend steel/rebar and related materials to the correct size, shape, and quantity.
  • Prepare, bundle, tag, organize, and stage completed orders for pickup, loading, or delivery.
  • Use shop tools and fabrication equipment safely after training and authorization.
  • Check measurements, quantities, and finished pieces to help prevent mistakes and rework.
  • Keep customer and project orders separated and clearly organized.
  • Assist with loading completed materials onto trucks or trailers when needed.
  • Report unclear instructions, damaged materials, equipment issues, safety concerns, or delays promptly.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication area.
  • Use company-provided communication and digital work tools for updates, inspections, or documentation as assigned. Required Qualifications
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and follow written or verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to double-check work before production runs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, and handle heavy or awkward materials throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 80-100 lbs as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment with machinery, sharp materials, noise, and outdoor staging areas.
  • Dependability, punctuality, teamwork, and follow-through.
  • Willingness to learn company standards, shop safety practices, and fabrication processes.
  • Willingness to work overtime, early mornings, or occasional scheduled Saturdays when business needs require. Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous fabrication, steel, rebar, welding, shop, warehouse, or construction-related experience.
  • Experience cutting, bending, bundling, staging, or loading steel materials.
  • Forklift experience or willingness to be trained.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for shop equipment care and troubleshooting. Benefits
